Before you ask
Five quick answers
Do you own the yachts you book?
No, and we consider that a feature. We vet and book across the working Labuan Bajo fleet. Because we are not tied to filling our own hulls, the recommendation follows your requirements rather than our inventory.
How far in advance should we book?
For high season — roughly June to September and the year-end holidays — three to six months gives the strongest choice. Shoulder season can often be arranged in four to eight weeks.
How does the daily visitor cap affect a private charter?
The park has capped entries at 1,000 visitors per day since April 2026. Chartering privately does not bypass the quota — your permits still count against it, so confirmed bookings and early permit processing matter more than they used to.
Can we add diving to a charter?
Often. Some vessels carry compressors and work with dive professionals; others manage it through tender support. Komodo currents demand proper guiding, so this is one area where vessel choice genuinely changes what is possible.
What is typically included?
Usually the vessel and full crew, meals and drinking water, snorkelling equipment, tenders for landings, and fuel for the agreed route. Park fees, ranger fees, alcohol and diving vary by operator — we confirm the full list in writing.
