Why quotes differ
Four things move the number
Two quotes for the same route can differ by half. This is usually why.

Vessel class
A compact wooden boat and a 40 m luxury phinisi run the same route at four times the price. Class is the single biggest lever.

Duration and route
Each extra night adds fuel, crew and provisioning. Outer anchorages cost more than the standard loop.

Group size
A full boat divided by twelve is a different per-head figure than the same boat divided by four.

Season and demand
June to September and holiday weeks price higher and sell out first. Shoulder months are materially cheaper.

Why do two quotes for the same itinerary differ so much?
Almost always vessel class and what has been left out. Compare the boat, the cabin count and the excluded fees before comparing the totals.
