An ensuite cabin aboard a phinisi

The honest comparison

Whole boat, or one cabin

Full privacy against a lower per-person price. Which one wins depends almost entirely on how many of you are travelling.

Everything else — the route, the boat class, the food — is the same either way.

Three common cases

01

Couples

A cabin usually saves money for two. If the trip marks an anniversary or a honeymoon, the whole boat is what you are actually buying.

02

Families

Almost always private. Children, grandparents and meal timing under one roof is worth more than the per-head saving.

03

Groups of 4–12

Private wins on both counts. Once you fill the berths the per-person price converges and the itinerary becomes yours.

Before you ask

Four quick answers

Is a private charter worth it for just two people?

On price, usually not — a cabin is cheaper for two. On experience, it can be: no strangers, no fixed schedule, and the crew working to your day.

Can I do a private day charter without staying overnight?

Yes. Day-use speedboats, phinisi and yachts all charter whole for a single day.

How far ahead should I book a full boat?

For June to September and holiday weeks, as far ahead as you can — the good boats go first. Outside those windows a few weeks is usually enough.

Can the boat be chartered for a wedding or event?

Yes, and that is a full-boat booking by definition. We arrange the deck setup, catering and timing around the ceremony.
