Four quick answers
Can I see Komodo without staying overnight?
Yes. A day trip covers roughly 55 nm and returns by dusk. You trade the Padar sunrise and the outer anchorages for not packing a bag.
What time does a day charter leave and return?
Departures are early, typically just after first light, and most boats are back at the harbour before sunset. Exact times come with your confirmation.
Is one day enough to see Komodo dragons?
Yes — the ranger walk on Rinca is the standard day-trip stop and sightings are reliable. Komodo Island itself is usually an overnight itinerary.
Can we charter the whole boat for one day?
Yes, and most groups of four or more do. Once you fill the seats, a private boat often costs about the same per head and the day bends to you.
